I have so many photos of graffiti in Berlin -- I'll have to post some more tomorrow. I found the graffiti in Berlin more original and expressive than the street art I've seen in other cities -- even art centres like Paris, London and Melbourne. There's even 3D graffiti in Berlin (pic tomorrow). I'm guessing that it's because graffiti is inextricably linked with the wall (West Berlin residents would display their outrage against the wall on the wall); that's why, I think, you don't see much graffiti removal, nor to you see the repetative tags that don't really interest me.
In an unrelated story, I'm heading to the post office now with a whopping 17 envelopes, sales I received over my two week holiday. A large load -- I'm so pleased! Here's the load:

And I sold my 450th item on etsy today -- a favourite necklace of mine.

Congrats on 450! I just broke 350 the other day.
Your stuff is beautiful!
Congrats on all the sales!
Very interesting your observation as to how the Berlin Wall affected the look and content of the graffiti.
That's a pretty nice pile of packages! Congrats on the sales and your 450th, too!
Very interesting about the graffiti.
Congrats on all your sales...yay!
great pictures(as always) and congrats on all the sales. I always manage to get a load of sales when I am on vacation as well. Isnt that always the way it works?? Maybe I should go on vacation more often!
Whoo hoo! That's alot of sales, girl!! Terrific!!
Congrats on your 450 sales marker! I just reached 100 myself!
That second one is so cute!
Congrats on all the sales!
I think I'm in love with that house graffiti.
And your theory about the German graffiti is fascinating. I often get carried away looking for those kinds of socio-cultural connections. But now that I'm out of school, it's hard to find people who are into it. lol
Congrats on your sales!
Great pictures and many sales! Maybe you should leave your shop more unattended! :)
